ERuDeF is a Cameroonian non profit dedicated to the conservation of wildlife and protection of fragile environments THROUGH research, training, education and community engagement. ERuDeF was founded in 1999 as a membership organization.
ERuDeF is managed by the following organs namely i) the Board of Trustees ii) The Executive Committee iii) The Technical Advisory Committee
ERuDeF’s registration number is 018/G41/67/Vol. 1/BaPP/1.AP with registered and administrative offices at Menji, P.O. Box 102 Menji, Lebialem Division and Buea, P.O. Box 189 Buea, respectively all in the South West Province, Cameroon. ERuDeF is a membership organisation made up of 270 members based in Cameroon, other African countries, Canada, the United States and Europe.
It runs a number of core programmes including Biodiversity Conservation, Forest Landscape Restoration, Conservation Finance, GIS for Development, Climate Change, Ecotourism and Women & Gender under the auspices of the Centre for the Advancement of Women Initiatives (CAWI).
