Mission
Our mission is to reduce deforestation and land degradation through the implementation of alternative sources of energy and modern farming techniques while promoting biodiversity conservation and poverty alleviation.
Specific objectives;
- To create the Mt Bamboutos Integral Ecological Reserve
- To promote the planting of beneficial and indigenous trees
- To sensitize and raise awareness of the rural people on climate change mitigation and adaptation measures
- To build capacity of the communities on biodiversity management
- To create a Tree Fund
- To develop alternative sources of energy (solar cookers, biogas, wind energy etc)
- To create school environmental clubs

- Sensitization campaigns
- on-farm demonstration
- Constant monitoring and evaluation of field activities
- Involving the communities in the tree planting exercises
